  • Vaginal delivery is possible if the previous tear has not caused anal incontinence
  • An individual evaluation for delivery nethod should be made for women with any type of anal incontinence before next delivery
  • A planned C-section is recommended for some women, for example those with anal incontinence or those that have undergone surgery due to anal incontinence
